About Us

We are a small, family-run farm and business, and we work with a team of local staff to provide an exceptional garden and retail experience. We grow top quality herbs and produce natural products in a way that is good for the body, the earth and the soul.

Good for the Body

Every product we make comes straight from the land beneath our feet.

We grow the plants and herbs on our farm without the use of harmful sprays, we harvest them by hand at their peak, and we dry, distill or infuse them to be used in our products. To complement our 100% farm ingredients, we carefully select sustainably sourced, organic and Fair Trade oils, butters, essential oils and botanicals to craft our unique, handmade products.

Each ingredient in every bottle, tin and jar is specifically chosen for the benefit it has to the body, and we would never sacrifice the quality of an ingredient to increase quantity. This means that our products are completely free of all additives, fillers, artificial preservatives and fragrances, and other undesirable chemicals.

Good for the Earth

Our eight-acre piece of farmland is our livelihood, and we make every effort to leave it better than we found it through sustainable farming practices: we control weeds with barrier cloth instead of sprays; our pond encourages and sustains our garden’s unique biodiversity; the majority of our plants are drought-tolerant, minimizing the need for irrigation; and all leftover plant debris is composted on-site.

We also choose sustainable packaging options for our products, we reuse mail order packaging for our online orders, and we repurpose old tools and farm treasures as part of our garden décor!

Good for the Soul

We work closely with local charities and other local businesses and organizations to support and enrich the fabric of our community.

  • Since 2014, we have supported Kelowna’s Building Healthy Families through the donation of ticket sales from various farm events. A local non-profit, the mission of Building Healthy Families is to preserve, stabilize, and strengthen families in our community through education, training and support.
  • We were launched in 2016 as the Okanagan's first Économusée for our lavender essential oil distillation, joining a global network of passionate artisan-entrepreneurs who create authentic, contemporary products from the traditional craft or trade they practice. During harvest, visitors to the farm have the opportunity to see traditional steam distillation in action, and are invited throughout the year to learn about the high quality essential oils and hydrosols that are extracted through this unique process.
  • We are recent members of the BC Buy Local organization, LOCO: a growing alliance of local companies working to strengthen our communities, grow the local economy and build strong, sustainable businesses.
